All the Marbles Day 21

It’s a unique time for the Church. It’s an opportunity to band together to reach our communities and world. No one local church has been chosen to be the light; we are all in this together! Share as a family, God’s plan as laid out from the beginning.

(1) Let’s go to the beginning of God’s story, recount the story of Adam and Eve in Genesis 1-3. Fact check your summary with the Bible. Who wrote Genesis? Research how Genesis 1 & 2 fit together, using reliable resources, of course. Remember, you are teaching your children more than just facts, you are teaching them where the Bible came from, how to research questions, how to critically evaluate sources—every moment is a learning opportunity!

(2) Read together Genesis 3:15, who does sin affect? Who is God speaking to? When did this promise become a reality? Talk about Jesus conquering death by dying on the cross and rising from the dead!

(3) The promise in Genesis 3:15 also belongs to us as humans! Did you know God reiterated this promise to Abraham? Read together, Genesis 12:2-3. This promise was to Abraham, and the nation of Israel centered on the person Jesus of Nazareth. And, from Jesus to all nations!

(4) Walk and talk and pray together!
